FAQ
01How does Loophole work?
Loophole is the same shampoo and conditioner formula you're used to — just without the pre-added water. Mix it with tap water at home and it becomes a full-strength 2-in-1 you can lather, rinse, and store exactly like any regular bottle. Most store-bought shampoos are already 75–85% water. We just let you add it yourself.
02Why would I add the water myself?
Because you get a great shampoo + conditioner at a price that opens a box of whoop-ass on the competition. Because you can stock up on a ridiculous amount of shampoo in the space of about half a shoebox. And because one small box replaces a pile of plastic bottles you'd otherwise throw away every year.
03Is it as effective as regular shampoo?
Yes. After mixing, Loophole becomes a traditional liquid that cleans, lathers, and conditions just like a regular 2-in-1. Use it in your routine exactly as you would any store-bought shampoo.
04How do I mix it?
Your box includes 20 packets and a set of jacks. The jack is your agitator — drop it into your bottle and it stays there, helping break up the powder every time you shake.
Here's the sequence: drop the jack in first, add about 9 fl oz of tap water, then pour the packet in. One important thing — leave at least 5 oz of headroom in the bottle before shaking. Without enough air space the powder won't fully dissolve no matter how hard you shake.
Use any squeeze bottle that holds at least 15 oz. A squeeze bottle works better than a pump — depending on how much water you use and your tap water, the consistency can vary, and a squeeze bottle handles that variation every time. An old shampoo bottle is perfect.
05How long does one packet last?
Each packet makes about 10 fl oz of shampoo + conditioner — roughly the size of a standard store bottle. For most people that's 3–4 weeks of regular use, depending on hair length and wash frequency.
06What are the environmental benefits?
Shipping dry means less packaging, less weight, and fewer bulky plastic bottles moving around the country. One small box replaces up to 20 plastic bottles — that's a lot less plastic ending up in landfills.
07Does it expire?
The powder doesn't expire — just keep the packets sealed until you're ready to mix. Once you add water, treat it like any open bottle of shampoo and use it up normally.
